Kotaku - There's no formal dress code for Augusta National Golf Club as it appears in Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14, but all created golfers must wear the same thing when they play it this year. This is unintentional, but admittedly a goof-up, two of the game's designers told me on Friday.
XboxAddict: " I can't comment to how often I'll go back to the Legends mode once I'm through it, but it's a fun piece overall, and really seems well thought out. All in all, I think the regular players and the diehards will be happy with this feature, and this title overall, as EA continues to do what they do best in this series, which is deliver all of the challenges and majesty of the sport, while leaving the intricacies intact. I think Ted Ray's quote sums it up quite nicely: 'Golf is a fascinating game. It has taken me nearly forty years to discover that I can't play it.'"
Tiger Woods PGA Tour '14 offers up a satisfying golf experience that will certainly please fans of the sport. Serious fans will get a lot of use out of the online modes, and the ability to relive key moments in the careers of legendary players should keep die-hards happy for a long time.
Dave Payerle writes: Sports games are, more than any other genre, iterative. As I mentioned in last years review, the rules of the game dont change much (if at all), so the challenge developers face is to create a better experience than the previous year. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14 is basically a tweaked version of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13. Fortunately, most of the changes are beneficial, and its still an excellent game.
